Greg Ambroisine, a versatile trumpeter, director, educator, and composer from Australia, has performed and collaborated across five continents. Originally from Sydney, he honed his skills under jazz luminary Gil Askey at Melbourne's Victorian College of the Arts. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, Ambroisine established himself as a prominent jazz musician through extensive travels in Canada and Germany, performing with artists like trumpeter Marcus Belgrave and drummer Richard "Pistol" Allen. Returning to Australia, he became the in-house composer for Bayside Media, where he worked with ARIA-nominated jazz pianist Andy Vance. Co-founding "Transit" with drummer John Morrison and pianist Andy Vance, their debut album garnered attention across the country. Now based in Germany, he has performed with groups ranging from Candi Staton to the Hermlin’s Swing Dance Orchestra.
